Guides/Number & account
Can I receive messages from Instagram, email, or my website too?
Yes, and every channel lands in the same inbox. Here is how to switch each one on.

The WACO inbox was built to be multi-channel from the start. WhatsApp is simply your first channel. When the business needs to receive messages from somewhere else, you switch that channel on and the conversations arrive in the same inbox. Your team does not have to learn a new tool, and a customer history does not end up split across several apps.
Available channels, all from the Channels page in the dashboard
- Instagram DM. One click: press "Connect Instagram", sign in with your professional Instagram account (Business or Creator), done. DMs start arriving in the inbox and we keep the connection alive for you, including the periodic permission renewals. There is nothing technical to configure. Still on a personal account? Here is how to switch, free, one minute.
- Live chat on your website. Enter your site address, press enable, then copy one small snippet of code into the site, or send it to whoever builds your website. Done in minutes.
- Telegram. Create a bot through @BotFather, free and about a minute, then paste the token into the Channels page.
- Email. An address such as
cs@yourclinic.comcan feed into the inbox. This one needs your mail server details, so we set it up with you. Get in touch. - API, for your own applications. See the developer guide.
You never have to create an "app" or open a Meta or Telegram dashboard. The entire technical side, including the official Meta application and its approval process, is ours to carry. That is the point of the service: you look after customers, we look after the platform.
